Mary Alice Hadley created most of our current designs and all designs are inspired by M.A. Hadley. Every artist was trained by a protégé of Mrs. Hadley. Genuine Hadley Pottery pieces have the M.A. Hadley hand-painted signature on the bottom or side of the piece.

We bought three personalized Hadley dishes as Christmas presents to children and grandchildren, all of which came out beautifully and perfectly and TIMELY. The three pieces were delivered by M.A. Hadley well before Christmas and each of them are already wrapped and under the tree. Y'all could not have done any better than that. Please tell telephone salesperson Ellen that I win our bet. She did not think that y'all could get our pieces manufactured and shipped and received before Christmas. Nice quality plate as usual. Love the wedding design. However, we started our Hadley collection some years ago when the plates were a darker color, almost a gray. Now, although the photos online seem to show a daker plate, all the plates and accessories we have order are a cream color, and don't match our set. (:

Certainly not the quality of the other personalized plates (16 of them) I have ordered under the original Hadley ownership. The green shading is full of bubbles) and blue lettering not crisp like older plates. It was a wedding plate and I did not notice the dropdown that offered bride and groom bs country couple -

The wedding plate turned out great! We have not presented it to the happy couple yet as it was not ready for their wedding day. Hadley was quite fast in making the plate, but we are at fault for not conceiving of this gift idea earlier. We had been presented with a German wedding plate from our German friends when we married in 1978 and still love that plate, so we wanted something similar for our nephew and his bride!

Sorry for my delay in responding to your response inquiries. The bride and groom received the wedding plate this week upon arriving home from their honeymoon. The finished plate became available a few days before their departure to travel to the wedding site; so I did not ship the gift until the end of their absence of their residence. The coupled really enjoyed the the decorations and names and date. Thank you for creating this lovely and memorable wedding gift.
