Refund policy
All of our pottery is handmade and hand-painted, and natural variations in color, shape, brushstroke, and finish are part of what makes each piece unique. These variations are not considered defects.
First-quality (Firsts) Pottery
- Returns of first-quality pottery are accepted within 30 days of receipt.
- A receipt and/or order number is required for all returns.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless an error was made by Hadley Pottery.
- Items must arrive unbroken and in original condition to receive credit.
- Please include your order number, contact information, and reason for return inside the package.
Seconds Pottery
- Seconds are sold at a discounted price due to “beauty marks.”
- All seconds are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
- We do not publish photos of each individual seconds pieces, unless you are shopping in-store, expect variations in what you see online.
Personalized Pottery
- All personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded. Please double check your order for correct spelling and pattern choice.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
- If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist you.
By purchasing, customers acknowledge and accept the handmade nature of our pottery and the distinctions between first-quality and seconds pieces. We take our grading process very seriously and stand by the work of our artisans that we release as firsts.
