Full-Time Production Associate

Production Louisville, KY Full-time

Job Description: Hadley Pottery is looking for dedicated team members to join our production crew. If you love working with your hands and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we'd love to meet you.

Finishing Specialist:
Help bring our pottery to life. You'll clean and smooth greenware, removing rough edges and imperfections before pieces move to our painting department. Using hand tools like sponges and sanding pads, you'll inspect each piece to ensure it meets Hadley Pottery's high standards for quality and craftsmanship. Attention to detail is essential in this role.

Pug Mill Operator:
Keep our clay production running smoothly. You'll safely operate our pug mill to process and prepare clay for production, loading and feeding clay efficiently while monitoring consistency. Your responsibilities include cutting, weighing, and preparing clay according to production needs, packaging prepared materials for the team, and maintaining equipment and work areas. You'll also communicate with production staff about clay needs and any equipment concerns.

What We're Looking For:
No prior pottery experience necessary—we provide training. We prefer candidates with manufacturing, production, or factory experience. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing repetitive hand and arm movements, and lifting clay and pottery as needed. We're looking for team members who are detail-oriented, follow procedures, show up on time, and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. A willingness to assist your teammates and take pride in quality work matters most.
