Mary Alice Hadley created most of our current designs and all designs are inspired by M.A. Hadley. Every artist was trained by a protégé of Mrs. Hadley. Genuine Hadley Pottery pieces have the M.A. Hadley hand-painted signature on the bottom or side of the piece.

My M.A.Hadley collection started, when I was shopping in my neighborhood cat rescue/thrift store. In the glass cabinet, where they display their "better" items, were a M.A.Hadley Dog and Cat plate...I did not even turn them over to look at the price, I knew they belonged in my house--they were simply adorable!
My husband has a 3-D printer, so he was able to make plate holders for my new dishes. I started looking for more animal (farmyard) pieces. Little by little, on Etsy, I have been building up my collection. This is the first time I went to the actual M.A.Hadley store and bought the turtle coaster. I think I need to get the sheep and chicken coaster to add to my farmyard collection. Marcia

Hadley coasters are the perfect size to feed a cat. Persian cats have a flat face so they can easily eat wet food out of a coaster. Love the cat design coaster.
