Mark your calendars for April 11 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM because we're hosting a very special in-person shopping event. For one day only, we'll be offering seconds, discontinued pieces, and special finds directly from the back rooms of our historic building.
We encourage everyone to arrive early for the best selection, as quantities are limited and many pieces are one-of-a-kind. We're excited to see all of your returning faces and welcome new collectors into the Hadley family ahead of the Derby season.

What is the Hadley Factory Sale?
The Hadley Warehouse Sale is a one-day factory floor event where guests can shop seconds, discontinued pottery, and rare finds directly from the Hadley warehouse.
These pieces may have small imperfections or variations, but they still reflect the craftsmanship and character that make Hadley pottery unique.

Will there be parking?
Yes, we have a small lot on the side of our building, and street parking on Story Avenue is based on availability. Our lot is free for customers.
Is this event in person or online?
This is an in-person-only event, but we will have select Warehouse Sale items available online for our out of town collectors. More information will be sent out about what will be available online.

What are “seconds”?
Seconds are pottery pieces with minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small glaze variations, slight painting inconsistencies, or subtle marks that do not meet Hadley’s full retail standards.
They are still functional and beautiful pieces, offered at special event pricing.
What kinds of items will be available?
Shoppers may find:
- Seconds pottery
- Discontinued patterns or shapes
- Test glazes/Sample items
- Overstock items
- One-of-a-kind finds
- Back room discoveries from the factory (more than pottery!)
Selection will vary and many items will be limited or one-of-a-kind.
Will there be limited quantities?
Yes. Because many pieces are unique or part of small batches, items may sell out quickly. Early arrival is recommended.
Can I return items, exchange items. or put any products on hold at the Warehouse Sale?
All Warehouse Sale purchases are final sale. No returns. No exchanges. No Holds. No exceptions.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Accepted payment methods will include credit cards, cash, and other standard in-person payment options. We will not be offering holds for the Warehouse Sale.
Why is Hadley hosting this event?
The Warehouse Sale allows Hadley to share special pieces from the factory while making room for new production ahead of the busy spring and Derby season. It’s also a chance to welcome the community inside and celebrate the craftsmanship behind every piece. We can’t wait to welcome you in!
Should I bring my own bag?
We never say no to being more eco-friendly! We suggest bringing your own bags or boxes to pack up your pottery. We will have our standard brown bags and packing paper as usual as well.
Will there be some firsts?
Yes! A very limited number of pottery firsts will be available in store. Firsts are not discounted.
