The Amphora Potter - Mary Alice Original Mural
Painted on a sliding metal-clad door with weathered, copper-toned edges, mounted on a white brick wall at Hadley’s Story Avenue factory. Framed by red and white brick, this mural measures roughly 76 inches wide, with a height ranging from 87 to 91 inches. The recessed wooden handle used to move the door is visible along the mural’s surface. The scene depicts a seated potter working alongside amphora vessels. Detail photos shot on film.
This print is the first of 50, custom framed by Masters Frame Shop.

The Process
We captured these murals in collaboration with Louisville’s State Film Lab, documenting their surfaces exactly as they appear today, including natural wear, scratches, and signs of daily use. Each mural is printed in editions of 50 on museum-grade, 100% cotton Hahnemühle paper. Each print is secured by Peer, preserving an authenticity signature and ensuring the mural’s history stays connected to the physical print.
