Mary Alice Hadley created most of our current designs and all designs are inspired by M.A. Hadley. Every artist was trained by a protégé of Mrs. Hadley. Genuine Hadley Pottery pieces have the M.A. Hadley hand-painted signature on the bottom or side of the piece.

I am new at collecting Hadley pottery. I’m starting with few small pieces and going from there. I absolutely love my Kentucky Coaster. Perfect size for where I displayed it along with several other pieces of pottery. I fell in love with Hadley Pottery.
This coaster was ordered for my daughter as a birthday gift. She saw it and loved it. She decorates for the Kentucky derby and wanted to add this small piece to her collection

The Kentucky coaster is a reminder of my short years living in Louisville and where my first child was born. And of course, of the Derby.
My children grew up with Hadley farm animal dishes, now starting my great grandson with the Easter bunny set. At 80+ years young, I still use and LOVE my Blue Horse collection. So delighted to know that Hadley Pottery is alive and well!
