Our first piece of Hadley Pottery was our wedding plate. Our four children each have bowls and plates. My in-laws were friends of the Hadleys. I remember shopping at the warehouse when we lived in Louisville.

Mary Alice Hadley created most of our current designs and all designs are inspired by M.A. Hadley. Every artist was trained by a protégé of Mrs. Hadley. Genuine Hadley Pottery pieces have the M.A. Hadley hand-painted signature on the bottom or side of the piece.
