The Nitty-Gritty

Print Width: 22.12", Height: 28.25"

  • Handmade in Louisville, Kentucky, since 1939
  • Hand-painted and signed with "M.A. Hadley" by each artist
  • Lead and cadmium-free glaze
  • Safe for food, microwave, and dishwasher use
  • Stoneware fired at 2,300°F

The Process

We captured these murals in collaboration with Louisville’s State Film Lab, documenting their surfaces exactly as they appear today, including natural wear, scratches, and signs of daily use. Each mural is printed in editions of 50 on museum-grade, 100% cotton Hahnemühle paper. Each print is secured by Peer, preserving an authenticity signature and ensuring the mural’s history stays connected to the physical print.
